This project proposes a residential development within an established neighbourhood in Masterton, carefully arranged to respect surrounding homes and landscape edges. The layout organises new houses around a simple internal street and shared spaces, creating a clear sense of place while maintaining appropriate privacy and outlook for both new and existing residents.

The design focuses on a balanced mix of house types, efficient plots and usable garden areas, supported by integrated parking and pedestrian routes. Landscape buffers and retained planting help soften the boundary and connect the development to its setting, resulting in a developeent that feels considered, practical and comfortable to live in.
